Privacy policy
SafePlaceSeniors (safeplaceseniors.com) is a home-safety resource for families. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email hello@safeplaceseniors.com.
What we collect
- When you ask for the printable checklist: your email address and, if you choose to give it, your ZIP code.
- When you ask for installation help: the ZIP code where help is needed, which product it’s for, and your email if you choose to give it.
- When you use the contact form: your name, email address, and message.
- Automatically: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver and protect the site. We don’t use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
Cookies and browser storage
Our site doesn’t set tracking cookies. If you arrive through one of our partners’ links, we store that partner’s name in your browser’s local storage for 30 days so we can credit them for your visit. When you click through to Amazon or TaskRabbit, those companies may set their own cookies to track the referral; their privacy policies apply on their sites.
How we use it
- To show you the printable checklist and, if you ticked the box, to email you occasional home-safety tips.
- To understand where installation help is most needed, so we know where to line up local installers.
- To answer your messages.
- To keep the site secure and working.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising.
- We don’t pass your email or ZIP code to installers, partners, or retailers. If we ever want to connect you with a local installer, we’ll ask you first.
Companies that run the site for us — our web host and database provider — process this information only to provide their services to us.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email we send, or by emailing us.
- See or delete your information by emailing hello@safeplaceseniors.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
California residents

Keeping it and protecting it
We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and we delete it when you ask. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, though no system is completely secure.
Children
This site is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
